We'll show you exactly where you need to go to locate the currently available Scavenger Hunt Eggs in Pet Simulator X!
By: Shaun Savage - Last Updated:
The Scavenger Egg is a type of egg that was introduced in Roblox Pet Simulator X as part of the Valentine’s Event. To hatch this egg, players need to participate in the scavenger hunt that takes place 30 minutes after a new update is released. The eggs are hidden somewhere on the map and can only be opened once by each player. The eggs will disappear 3 hours after the start of the event.

Scavenger Hunt Egg Locations
The Scavenger Hunt Egg appears 15 minutes after a major Pet Simulator X update is released! We will have the locations as soon as the event goes live so you can hopefully nab yourself the Safari Dog and Huge Safari Dog. The Safari Cat and Huge Safari Cat are no longer available from these eggs.
- Doesn’t look like the eggs are actually in the game anymore. We’ll update this post if that changes!

Scavenger Egg Hunt Bugs
Every once in a while, you might open one of these eggs and nothing will happen. This is a bug that has occurred a few times during the event. This usually requires a restart of the servers from BIG Games, so try to stick around and wait for them to implement a fix so that you can get a pet.
At the initial launch of the Trading Update, a scavenger hunt was organized, but it encountered an issue. While eggs could be claimed, they were not hatching upon opening. This glitch affected the entire hunt, making it impossible for players to complete it. Fortunately, the problem was resolved, and the developers returned the eggs that were claimed before the fix. The event was extended to compensate for the lost time.
Similarly, the Kawaii Update also experienced some glitches during its launch. In particular, the third egg in Doodle Woodlands was unclaimable for the first 30 minutes of the scavenger hunt, while the other two eggs could be hatched. The issue was later resolved, and players could claim the third egg. During this time, the Daycare feature was also unavailable, but it was fixed in the same patch as the third scavenger egg.
Most Frequent Egg Locations
It appears that areas like Cat World, Axolotl World, Fantasy World, and Tech World are the most commonly used locations for Scavenger Eggs. While they aren’t guaranteed to appear in this worlds, it does seem like they are the best place to start looking. Spawn World has never been used at the time of this writing, so I wouldn’t bother checking that area unless you run out of options!
