We’re back with another episode of Lex Talk History! As students return to classrooms this fall, Mandy and Alan are joined by Dr. Rosie Moosnick and Tori Cruz-Falk to discuss their book, Campus Candor. Moosnick and Cruz-Falk discuss their time recording oral histories with students throughout the Southeast, the inspiration for the project, and how talking with students across cultural and economic differences can build empathy inside and outside the classroom. Plus, Mandy and Alan reminisce on the one-year anniversary of reopening the Lexington History Museum and lessons learned so far—including the importance of slowing down.
